TrueTest automated optical inspection systems for FPD combine advanced test sequencing and analysis software, advanced imaging systems specifically designed for production environments and the know-how of the Radiant Zemax team. TrueTest Software

Advanced production test sequencing is the foundation of a powerful suite of software modules that form a comprehensive turnkey solution for QC/QA testing and calibration for multiple FPD display technologies, including LCD, plasma and OLED. The system automates the entire test sequence, including the display of test patterns on the device under test, imaging them with a ProMetric® Imaging Colorimeter, and then analyzing and presenting the measurement results relative to custom-tailored pass/fail criteria. 

This can take only a fraction of a second per test. The system API provides easy integration with any production control system (PCS). The TrueTest user interface provides complete control over the test sequence, which tests are run, and in what order, as well as pass/fail parameters for each test.

ProMetric® Imaging Systems

Our highly accurate, CCD-based colorimeters make precise, spatial measurements of luminance and chromaticity in demanding production environments. ProMetric Imaging Colorimeters make possible levels of judgment matching human visual perception but with greater sensitivity, consistency, and adaptability. Selecting the correct imaging system for a measurement application requires balancing essentials for resolution, imaging speed, and optical configuration.
