ProSource 10SE enables designers to conduct detailed analysis of
luminance and color as a function of angle for light sources and
lighting systems and to produce highly accurate spectral and photopic
ray sets that minimize simulation time. With ProSource 10SE, designers
can also create more accurate simulation with significantly smaller file
sizes using RSMx compressed file format.

| Ray Set Generation |
Exported Photopic ray sets are compatible with Zemax,
ASAP, FRED, Integra, LightTools, LucidShape, Opticad, OSLO, SimuLux,
TracePro, general unix binary format and ASCII format, among others |
| | Full user
control over the number of rays, angular range of rays, and total luminous
flux of the ray set and ray origin. |
| | Rays can be
generated on the surface of a sphere, cylinder, or plane as well as the
nearest distance to z-axis location |
| |
Photopic, color (RGB), and spectral ray sets are supported with up
to two billion rays generated. Spectral ray sets are compatible with
the latest releases of Zemax, LightTools, and select other optical
design software; check with optical design software providers for
detail |
