Analysis
'Analysis' features refers to any graphical or text data computed from data
defining the lens. This includes aberrations, MTF, spot diagrams, and many other
computations. Program features that modify the lens data or that manipulate
other data (such as glass catalog data) are described in the
Tools section.
All Analysis features are found under the Analysis menu
All Analysis windows share a common user interface, for ease of use. For
example, a Polarization Pupil Map analysis window may look like so:
The top menu (highlighted in red above) gives one-click access to everything you
can do with the analysis feature. By clicking on 'Settings,' or by
right-mouse-clicking anywhere on the Analysis window, the Settings dialog is
shown:
This dialog allows you to set the analysis feature to give you the needed data.
Context-sensitive help is provided by pressing F1 when using the analysis
window, or by pressing the Help button on the settings dialog.
