Zemax IE gives you access to the most accurate method of modeling optical sources available anywhere: the Radiant Source Model. IE users have access to download Radiant Source Models from our online library while the IE key is
in support.

These are measurements of the spatial and angular characteristics of the source, and give accurate results in both the near and far field. Zemax IE includes access to the online Radiant Source catalog of light sources, which is under constant development, with new sources being added regularly. Just choose your manufacturer:



then source type and model number, and you can download the RSMX file directly to your computer.



The real benefit is that you can now generate rays within the exact ranges you need. Many manufacturers make ray sets available for download, but by using the RSMX directly you can generate rays that exactly meet the needs of your
specific system:
